‘Hit-to-Kill’ Missile Defense
Join us and historian and frequent guest of this webinar, David Stumpf, for a discussion on “Hit-To-Kill” Missile Defense-- how defensive missiles intercept incoming missile threats and collide with them in body-to-body impact.
David Stumpf is a retired plant biochemist living with his wife, Susan, in Tucson Arizona.
He has written three nuclear weapon histories, Regulus the Forgotten Weapon, a History of the Navy’s Regulus I and II cruise missiles; Titan II: A History of a Cold War Missile System and Minuteman: a Technical History of the Missile.
Dr. Stumpf volunteered at the Titan Missile Museum, Sahuarita, Arizona, as an historian and as a tour guide for 15 years. He was instrumental in the effort to gain National Historic Monument status for the museum.
